How to overcome stress? Feeling unmotivated? Overwhelmed?

Yes. We, humans face those obstacles in life where we feel drained, unmotivated, or overwhelmed. Personally speaking, I’ve experienced some obstacles where I’m trying to get everything done all at once.(Doing way too much as some would say.) Stressing over finals, and working as an intern with The Curvy Fashionista can be difficult to juggle sometimes, and there are days you just don’t feel like getting out of bed to start your day, but that’s okay. It’s normal to have those days and I’m here to give you some of my tips to overcome stress and getting through “those days”. These are personal tips that help get me through my day.



Relax. Whenever I’m feeling overwhelmed or I feel like the world is about to crash down on me, I take deep breaths. I literally have to stop what I’m doing and think “Stop it, Krystal. Breathe for a minute, get your thoughts together.” 


Take a walk, exercise, eat a snack, or whatever works best for you to keep your mind off of downer temptations. Now, I don’t exercise because I’m too lazy for that. LOL. But, I do listen to music. We all have those days where we feel stuck or confused, but better days are coming. I promise you.



Such a key for me. So, whenever I’m having one of those Debbie downers days, I write what’s bothering me inside. I know, it may come off very cliche, but it helps when you’re writing down what’s on your mind. In general, it doesn’t necessarily have to be something that may be bothering you, but it’s a stress reliever. It literally feels as if a ton of weights are lifting off of my shoulders and angels are humming over me. It’s also very good to write a list of everything you want to accomplish. Write some pros and cons of the situation. Reason it out.  I recently started this and let me tell you, it’s a great feeling creating a list and marking out certain things that help me feel motivated and some that don’t because I’m actually getting things accomplished which makes me feel very good about myself and how I’m handling the adult world.

In conclusion, these are some tips of how I overcome dealing with being overwhelmed. Hey, this may not work for you, but that’s okay. Find out ways on how you overcome your own stress or anxiety. We all been there and lastly, EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OKAY.♥
