Keeping up with Kryss |Adventures in New Orleans? Natural hair goals? Balancing School and work?

Hey y’all!!
Y’all missed me?
I’ve missed you guys!

How are you doing? I hope all is well 🙂

I’m back from my first trip of this month. I traveled to New Orleans for my roommate’s 21st birthday. I had sooooo much fun. It was lit. Surrounded with friends and family made me appreciate the lifestyle… New Orleans is my second home. Oh, I can’t forget about the amazing food they have! I wish I would of brought back some food with me. I almost can’t live without it.

On a serious note, I woke up feeling extremely blessed this morning. I was literally laying in bed thinking about how far I’ve come. I still have a long way to go but life doesn’t stop for anyone. The picture below speaks for itself. *Starts playing A Thousand Miles*  I get excited over the smallest things. Seriously, the smallest things excites me.

Making my way downtown
On July 25, 2016, I’ll be 3 years natural! I can’t believe it. Like I’ve stated before, this journey hasn’t been easy. ( Literally, a week ago… I was thinking of cutting my hair off). I want to start taking more care of my hair. I’m taking a break from the sew ins and braids, I’m letting my hair breathe. I want to appreciate my natural hair. Also because, I’m going to Afropunk in August and my fro has to be poppin, okay? You feel me? Okay, good.

School has started back (UGH!), I despise summer school but I graduate college next year so I have no choice but to take the pain and survive this semester. This semester is going to be interesting (as always). I have a planner so I can keep up with myself and the things I need to get done. Being a full time student and working can be hard but that’s what planners are for, I will be taking full advantage of writing in my planner and what not. I started vlogging my life. It’s so awk. vlogging in public talking to your camera but I’ll get used to it, the more I do it.

Other than that, I hope you all have an amazing week! I envy you who are all out for the summer break. Lucky you! 🙂

P.S, highlighter I used for this amazing glow is Betty Lou Manizer. I made a post about it centuries ago.

I thought this picture was HILARIOUS!!!
I was directing my friend that was taking my picture to walk around the other side to capture a different scenery. Behind the scenes you guys… HAHA!

Much love,

When your makeup pops
